00:00What's up guys, today we're going to be checking out some of the best features with Android 14
00:05So I think this was just released, I think today
00:09So let's go ahead and dive in
00:11So one of the first things I always check
00:13And I thought this was probably the coolest one
00:15Is you're going to go to about phone
00:17And then we're going to go to Android 14
00:21Click on Android 14
00:23And when you hold this now
00:25Your phone starts to vibrate
00:28And then it goes into like a little mini game
00:31Like a little spaceship game or something
00:34Which I thought was pretty cool
00:36So I don't know, I thought it was really cool actually
00:39This is a pretty cool feature now
00:41There's a new way to copy and paste
00:43So we're just going to highlight
00:44And then we're going to hold
00:45And I think this is pretty useful for like the text messaging app
00:48And stuff like that
00:50And you just put it right here like that
00:52And then it just pastes it right there
00:54I guess this is kind of faster
00:56I'm not really sure
00:58Like because is that really faster
01:00Than just the normal copy and paste
01:02It might be
01:04The copy and paste and then you come in here
01:07Yeah that is actually a little bit faster right
01:11Because then you would have to double tap
01:13So yeah that is technically faster
01:15So that's a pretty cool way of doing the copy and paste now
01:18This also does work for pictures as well
01:22So you can do the same way
01:24Drag it
01:26Send it like that
01:28So I think it's pretty cool
01:29Alright so next is one of the coolest things
01:31That's going to pop out to a lot of people
01:33It's kind of the same thing that Samsung did
01:35But if you hold down now
01:37You have a customized lock screen
01:39And it's done in a very nice way
01:41You have a bunch of different clocks
01:43You know styles on here now
01:45So you can sort of make the phone look how you want it to
01:47I really like this one right here
01:49And you can also get to the home screen
01:51From right here as well too
01:53You can mess with the color as well
01:55You can also mess with the overall size
01:58You can go small
02:00Dynamic
02:01Pretty cool
02:03Wallpapers
02:04And then you also have a shortcut right here as well
02:06I'll put the mute button down here
02:08But you have QR code, wallet, flashlight
02:11And then your right shortcut on here
02:13We'll just put the camera on here
02:17And then you have more lock screen options as well too
02:20So we can go in and
02:22You know just play with these
02:24If we want to
02:26And sort of customize it the way you want
02:28But very very cool
02:29So as you can see
02:30You just have more customization
02:32With the lock screen
02:34And much easier now to access
02:36But this clock is just
02:38I really like how this looks
02:39Alright so the next one is
02:41Something that I don't think is
02:43I think it's new to the Pixels
02:45But it's not new to Android
02:47I think Samsung does it
02:49The iPhone does it
02:51So go into settings and accessibility
02:53And then you have a new option
02:55Right here

02:58I feel like I just passed it

03:02It's called flash notifications
03:04Right here guys
03:05Click on that
03:07And essentially what it does is
03:08If you get a
03:10Notification
03:12It'll flash
03:13And then you also have one for screen yellow
03:15Your screen will do that

03:19You know it could be useful if you feel like
03:21You need something like
03:23It's pretty much for people who
03:25I think have their phones down like that
03:27So when you get a notification it'll light up
03:29So I guess it's kind of useful
03:31For that
03:32Another thing that I noticed
03:34In the toggles
03:35So if you go to toggles
03:36Hit the edit button
03:37And then you go down
03:38You'll see font size now
03:40Um this is new
03:43And
03:45If you click on it now
03:46It'll just increase the font
03:47Without going to the settings
03:48So you kind of have it as a toggle
03:50For if you need to
03:52Increase the font
03:53And then you can just change it back
03:54Really quickly
03:55Um I thought that was pretty useful
03:57So you can see it's much bigger now
03:59Alright so one of the last ones
04:01Is
04:02And this was also one Samsung
04:04But it's in developer options
04:05If you don't have developer options
04:07You just go into about phone
04:09And then you go to your build number
04:11Tap it like 7, 8 times
04:13And then you will have it
04:15So then after that
04:17You go into developer options
04:19And then we're going to type
04:21Predictive
04:23Back animations
04:25And it's pretty much the same thing
04:27That we saw with One UI 6
04:29And it basically just gives you a preview
04:31Of what you're going back to
04:33As you can see
04:35So
04:37I really like this
04:38I love to keep this on
04:39I'm glad that it's in Android
04:41So it was probably just a standard Android
04:43Feature
04:44I don't think it was a One UI feature
04:46But it's pretty cool
04:47So even if you
