00:00Let's get into this Packers-Texans game here, man.
00:06Stroud vs. Love is a really, really fun quarterback battle.
00:13Green Bay does enter as the healthier team, though, with Nico Collins out and still some
00:17injuries for Houston's defense that last week a lot of stuff was covered up due to the fact
00:22that they were playing the New England Patriots, and look, man, they absolutely rolled in that
00:26game.
00:27To beat the NFL by 20 in their own building is a great win, and that's what the Texans
00:31put up.
00:32It was their most dominant victory of the season, but now they have a really tough task
00:36on their hands going to Green Bay here, Donnie.
00:38What do you look for in this matchup?
00:39I think it's going to be fantastic, and you might actually be getting a Super Bowl preview
00:42because when both of these teams are healthy and at their best, they're damn near unstoppable
00:46on offense.
00:47It will be fun to play out, but as I talked about that San Francisco 49ers game earlier
00:50today, sometimes it comes down to can you protect your quarterback?
00:54So if I'm looking from Green Bay's side of things, they have an average offensive line,
00:57and yes, Love can be a mobile quarterback, he's got a lot of good young wideouts and
01:00a running game that can sort of buoy, but for me, Joe, it comes down to Hunter and Anderson
01:04on the outsides as defensive ends.
01:06If you can collapse that pocket, you can give your team a chance, but having said that,
01:10it's Green Bay Packers for me today.
01:11I just think overall, there's a better football team, home field advantage on their side,
01:15Nico Collins still not being there.
01:17Look, Tank Dell is a very good wide receiver, Stephon Diggs was brought in to play big.
01:20I don't think this is a blowout by any means, but give me the Green Bay Packers here today.
01:24I agree with you.
01:25I think it's Green Bay, but I do feel we get through the 47 and a half.
01:28I think both offenses potentially can eat here.
01:31The matchup for me, Kevin, is it's back-to-back road games for Houston 1, right?
01:36And the offenses that they have faced, dominating Buffalo with Josh Allen, limited weapons,
01:41holding up to 9 of 30 in terms of the completion percentage, and then last week, Drake May,
01:46even though he put up 250 yards, they turned him over, they had the football for a majority
01:52of the first half, built a huge first half lead, and then just never looked back.
01:57They're going to be challenged today by all of these weapons that Green Bay has, and playing
02:01on the road and the fact that Green Bay is a dominant home team, that's why I like Jordan
02:05Love here.
02:06They can run it, they can throw it.
02:07I like to see Christian Watson get involved.
02:10I think he duplicates the performance that he did last week.
02:13I think the rushing attack could take over.
02:15I think they win it by 7 to 10.
02:17It might be close for a half, but they pull away in the second half.
02:21Yeah, this number, again, it's 3, there's 2 and a half still out there, so you could
02:25kind of...
02:26Out of respect towards the Texans, 2 and a half's out there.
02:28I really do think that.
02:29The Texans are really good, though, Don.
02:31Like I guess, I mean, with the injuries, I hear you, but again, you're up to 3.
02:35I think a 3 and a half would be a lot of Houston, Houston, Houston.
02:38They gave 5 and a half to Arizona, right?
02:40Yeah, they did, right?
02:41Right.
02:42And I was on Arizona, too, which was tough, because Love came out, and Love was on fire.
02:47And look, he's a touchdown throw machine.
02:49Every game, he walks out there, throws 2 touchdowns, and then you kind of go from there.
02:53The interceptions so far this season, he's got 6 picks in just the 4 games.
02:57The only quarterback that's thrown more touchdowns, which is incredible, because he's only played
03:00in the 4 games, is Baker this year.
03:02Jordan Love is going to compete for that touchdown lead.
03:04He should not be in the MVP race.
03:06We'll handle that when he ends up being in that MVP race, but it is what it is.
03:10I look at this game, though, I kind of think under, where maybe the Nico Collins absence
03:16hits Houston a little bit harder this week.
03:18Again, we've seen the Jordan Love turnovers.
03:21Those come on the wrong side of the field.
03:23A lot has to go right to get over a number like this.
03:26I'm leaning a little bit on the under at 48 and a half, but the reason we did this game
03:30after that Super Bowl kind of preview is, you look at this game, and it kind of is a
03:35sneaky one, right?
03:36They both feel legit.
03:39If you were to invest, and I know your answer is Green Bay, so I'll go to you first, Donnie,
03:43in either the Packers or the Texans, right?
03:45Big picture.
03:46Even if it was just to win a conference.
03:47Do you feel strongly on which one of them it would be?
03:50Look, I like the Texans.
03:52Came into them very high this season.
03:53Thought CJ Stroud would take another step, even after his tremendous rookie year, but
03:57if you're just looking at the Green Bay Packers, defensively, I think they give them a slight
04:01nod over the Texans.
04:02And again, I like the Texans' defense.
04:03I think they can collapse the pocket.
04:05On offense, I just like Green Bay a little bit better.
04:07Now, granted, does that change if Nico Collins is healthy, and this would be a statement
04:10game if they go in and win at Green Bay.
04:13But when we talk about those levels where it's like, what are you going to be doing
04:15for the playoffs?
04:16I loved what I saw from Green Bay last year, and we expected that to be an extension of
04:20that playoff run last year, right into the season.
04:22Almost got derailed, Joe, right off the bat against the Philadelphia Eagles with that
04:24knee injury, which Love shook off here.
04:27It would be the Green Bay Packers.
04:28It's a Green Bay for me, too, and it's because of LeFleur.
04:31I said, one of the most...
04:32Great coach.
04:33Yeah.
04:34Gets very underrated.
04:35Doesn't get put with the upper echelon, I feel, in terms of the coaches.
04:39Obviously not from the Coach of the Year odds, once Aaron Rodgers left, and he's done a fantastic
04:44job.
04:45And I'll just give credit to Houston.
04:47They answered the bell with the bullseye on their back, at least up until this point.
04:53Just like Jacksonville did last year, but they tailed off one and five down the stretch.
04:57Up until this point, they've answered all the questions.
05:00We knew that they had expectations.
05:02They've answered those.
05:03C.J. Stroud still playing well and looking great in year number two, Kev.
