00:00Yeah, I mean, we liked him at Chef United.
00:14We tried to take him then and we couldn't.
00:16He went further afield and then, you know, brought him back here.
00:19There's something he's still learning about the Premier League, he's still developing.
00:22I thought first half of his game wasn't where it should be, apart from his fine finish.
00:26But I think he'll continue to learn about what we are,
00:29what the Premier League is, because he's obviously limited in his depth of experience.
00:33I think he's a very good player and he continues to show that.
00:36So with him on one flank and Harrison on the other,
00:40and then you've got Dwight in the middle, number 10.
00:44Yeah, well, I made a change.
00:48I felt, you know, the technical side of our game wasn't where it should be.
00:52I made a change.
00:52I thought, I know Dwight from, I've known him a long time.
00:56The defensive side of the game, he's got to learn,
00:58I think, from that position.
00:59But we know he's of offensive games really good and he's very technical.
01:02Illy with a bit of charm, he can carry the ball.
01:05Jack's a relentless operator for us.
01:07He's very good at the shape and the discipline of a side.
01:10And it just sort of gave us that bit of balance.
01:12And Dom's gone through a couple of times today.
01:13Another day, he scores one, maybe two.
01:16But they'll come for him if he keeps doing the right things, keeps getting in the right place.
01:19You know, and trying to find that balance, I speak about all the time, is the hardest thing in football.
01:22Enough quality to go forward and open teams up.
01:25But still, the players who can be resolute and work hard enough to make sure you don't open up too much and you get beat.
01:30So that's the balance all managers are looking for.
01:38No, no, no.
01:39No, he's a very fit player.
01:40I mean, I've known him since I gave him his debut.
01:42I've never known him not fit.
01:44No, he's a really fit player.
01:45He's a very fit player.
01:46He's quicker than people think.
01:47And he can carry 95 minutes comfortably when he's really on it.
01:55Yeah, well, not everyone's going to have that period, you know.
02:03It's not just everyone in football.
02:04Every team, at some point, they'll look at their face and go,
02:07that looks like a tough one.
02:08That's just the nature of the Premier League.
02:10That's why, you know, they get hammered for it, say, one game at a time, because that's what it is.
02:14I'm never, I appreciate, I've been in Europe once with Burnley, and you do have to plan differently.
02:19It's tricky because you've got so many games coming up.
02:22We're not in Europe, so we're going to have that one game at a time mentality,
02:26you know, and keep building on that.
02:27And I think it's a simple way, a simple format of making sure the players stay focused on what the next challenge is.
02:33So every time them games come about, going back to your point, it's another game in the Premier League.
02:37A lot of our players know about the Premier League.
02:39Next one comes, you've got to be ready for it.
02:40Go and deliver, see what you get.
02:42It has to be moved forward quickly, because that's the nature of the game.
02:45On Dominic Calverley, he used to focus on his missed chances, but it felt like he had a really good game today.
02:51Yeah, he's doing a lot of work.
02:52He's doing a lot of tactical work, you know, trying to get him to understand the defensive side.
02:56And I think he's doing that better.
02:58He keeps getting in the right place.
02:59And like I said, you know, goals will come for him because he is getting chances and he is getting in the right places.
03:09He's a very good finisher.
03:10Like I say, he's another player I've known for a long time.
03:12All the players know in training what a good finisher is.
03:15He has a calmness to him and we see it all the time.
03:19And he's a threat in the box, without a doubt.
03:23OK, thanks, folks.
03:24Cheers, everyone.
