00:03Derbyshire Police are appealing for an American tourist to come forward after he found a man who is later pronounced dead at Derwent Reservoir.
00:11The man, who was in his 40s, was found at the car park close to the Upper Derwent Visitor Centre shortly before 4.30pm on Saturday.
00:20He was pronounced dead at the scene and his family have been made aware.
00:25The American tourist left the scene before police officers arrived and they are keen to speak to him as a witness.
00:31Officers say that there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances in relation to the death and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
00:39Anyone who has information about the incident or who knows the whereabouts of the American tourist is asked to contact Derbyshire Police, quoting reference number 849191024.
