00:00 Here's today's Derbyshire Times video bulletin.
00:03 Derbyshire Police have issued an appeal to parents after a supermarket has become a hotspot for anti-social behaviour, with gangs of youth stealing from the premises and abusing staff.
00:13 The Bolsover Safer Neighbourhood Team has reported an increase in anti-social behaviour around Morrisons on Oxcross Lane, Bolsover.
00:20 A spokesperson said, "A group of youths has been committing thefts, being abusive towards staff and generally being a nuisance. This behaviour will not be tolerated and is currently being investigated."
00:31 If, as a parent or guardian, you are allowing your child or children to go out unsupervised, they are still your responsibility.
00:38 We advise you to discuss with your children about their conduct in the community and the effect it will have, not only on themselves, but on the wider community.
00:47 The Peak District National Park Authority has confirmed that pay and display charges will soon apply at an additional 13 of its car park locations, with pay machines going live from the first week of November.
00:59 The introduction of fees at the locations follows a consultation on car parking charges undertaken last year, with council officers stating that they had deliberately chosen to avoid installing new systems until after the recent half-term breaks.
01:13 Fees at the new sites will remain at the 2023 rates already in place at other authority car parks.
01:19 Regular visitors can apply for a £40 annual permit, making a weekly day visit less than 80p a stay across a year.
01:26 The addition of the new locations means that 31 of the authority's 44 sites will now require payment, with 13 remaining free of charge.
01:35 The authority manages some 1,800 parking spaces across the Peak District, mostly in rural areas.
01:42 Blue Badge holders may continue to park in all locations in designated bays for free.
