Transcript
00:00My name is Esther Danquah. And I am Dorcas.
00:04We are originally from Ghana, West Africa. I work with my sister Dorcas in the Southeastern Trust,
00:13precisely the Ulster Hospital.
00:15We've been here for
00:17past three years now and
00:20the team have been brilliant. The clinical education team was so helpful.
00:25The Southeastern Trust is a good place to be to develop both personally and professionally.
00:32The more I keep doing the job, the more I keep loving it.
00:36When I started working here with an adult learning disability,
00:41the thing that really interested me, that said, oh, I think I will get this job, is to expose me to so many things.
00:49Like when I get in here, I struggle to cook. I will ask, oh, how can I make this?
00:56How can I make this?
00:58Some say, oh, this thing you make wasn't really nice. Don't worry, I'll get it better next time.
01:07My favourite thing is that we work as a team.
01:11As I said, the team that I have on my ward is brilliant.
01:16Everyone is all ready to help and then you have the opportunity to
01:20learn on the job as well, to develop your clinical skills.
