00:04That's why the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council

00:09of Lalawigan in DSWD is now working together for the distribution of relief goods.

00:31PDRRM Officer Atty. Edward Chumawar Jr. announced that a large part of the province is affected,

00:38especially the town of Paracelis, which experienced flooding

00:42due to the flooding of Malig, Sifu, and Amulong rivers.

00:46Relief goods have also been deployed in the town of Tadjan and Paracelis.

00:51The official confirmed that

00:53all means of communication are being utilized to at least address the current situation

00:57and to provide whatever relief or assistance to our affected individuals in the municipality

01:05or in the entire province.

01:06With the help of the PNP, BFP, local DRRMCs, and volunteers,

01:14a grandfather's body was found floating in the Chico River in Sabangan.

01:19Meanwhile, in Calinga, Governor James Eduba said

01:24that the government has already sent relief kits to the affected towns.

01:29There are pre-positioned goods in the municipality.

01:34Previously, there were only 6,000 pre-positioned packs available in the province.

01:43DPWH's restoration efforts in the closed streets of Calinga are also in full swing

01:49due to the flooding of the land.

01:52The government is now helping in various ways

01:55to help our countrymen who have recovered from the effects of the floods.
