00:00Well, as we prepare for Halloween next Thursday, the 31st of October, we have something a little spooky for some in the northwest with some rain, some mountain snow.
00:08It's going to be a lot cooler across much of the west, and that'll be a welcome change into Phoenix, I think.
00:14But dry weather continues into the plains, and we will see some showers reach more of the Great Lakes.
00:20Some thunderstorms could be a concern into the lower Mississippi Valley.
00:24You can see the darker green there.
00:26And for the East Coast, it's going to be very warm, very warm.
00:28We have to keep an eye out for some wind and some issues in Florida, the coastal parts of the area here,
00:33just with some tropical concerns around and after that time as well.
00:37But the non-shore wind could be an issue.
00:39New York City is going to be very warm, 77 degrees on Halloween afternoon.
00:44Charlotte, 80, Jacksonville, 81.
00:46There you can see some showers on a warm day into Miami.
00:49Heading west, though, upper 40s in Minneapolis, mid-to-upper 50s into Denver, and a little cooler across the west with some rain into areas like Seattle.
00:57So I mentioned New York City, we're forecasting 77.
01:00Record high in New York and also in Boston, both cities, record high 81 for the warmest Halloween in the books back in 1946.
01:08So it doesn't look like we'll be quite that warm, but it will be a pretty toasty time.
01:12And in Philadelphia, we're looking at 80.
01:14We're forecasting 76 into Boston.
01:16There will be some rain in Detroit, 65, and in Baltimore, a warm one at 80.
01:21That's 15 degrees above the average.
01:23Heading into the southeast here, the recovery continues in Tampa, 86, a little warm, 2 degrees above average.
01:29Nashville has a shot at some showers and some thunderstorms out there.
01:32There's some great spooky scenes there in Stormstown, Pennsylvania.
01:35It's kind of a scary-sounding place.
01:37And you can see into areas around south-central parts of the nation.
01:40Temps running very close to average here, maybe a smidge above in San Antonio and Memphis.
01:45And into the Midwest here, Chicago, cloudy at 60, a classic Halloween there in the Windy City.
