00:00game. It was very exciting. Washington between Indiana. Now the Hoosiers have been on a roll
00:10as of late, but more importantly, it was really freaking cool to see Corso rocking the throwback
00:16gear because once upon a time, those were his sidelines. So what did we make of Indiana's
00:2031 to 17 victory over the Washington Huskies? Is this the best team in the nation? Is this
00:28the best team in the Big Ten right now? Undefeated, 5-0 in conference play. This was a fantastic
00:33performance. Washington were absolutely going to come up and roll the sleeves up and try
00:37and get down and dirty. 31 to 17, so I guess not as many points as I was expecting. I thought
00:42both offenses may have really got after it. 53 and a half, so right around that number.
00:48Cover at 5 and a half there. So for Indiana, I tell you what, this is a team, Casey, and
00:53just looks better the further we get into the year through the regular season and not
00:58a team that I would try and be excited about running up against. They're going to cause
01:02a lot of problems. You look at the way that they can get it done, it's with the run game.
01:07They really didn't have to get it vertical and get it downfield by airing it out there
01:10through Jackson today. So I tell you what, they can slice it a couple of different ways.
01:16They continue to build momentum. There's a lot of confidence in this locker room right
01:20now. So 31 to 17, Ellison was fantastic. 123 rushing yards. They really went on that
01:26run game. 29 carries there for the young fella included a rushing touchdown to mix as well.
01:32So I thought very impressive, very impressive from number 13 in the country. Yeah, very
01:37impressive overall. And you might be right, they could be the best team right now because
01:42more importantly, when you look at the margin of 31 to 17, you're thinking that Indiana
01:47just came in and completely dominated this game where they did dominate was the intellect
01:52smart plays really great play calling because when you look at the rest of the stats here
01:56between offensive plays, Washington had them by six more offensive plays 318 offensive
02:03or total yardage versus 312 which is what Indiana came up with passing yards top them
02:07yet again 202 to 124 on the ground. They weren't that far behind 116 to 188 and then they were
02:14averaging five and a half plays per yard versus four and a half on the other side.
02:19So that just shows you where a lot of football IQ came into the mix of that matchup which
02:23is going to get them further down the stretch and continue to stack that perfect record
02:27that they've got going on right now.
