00:00Caracas hosted the fifth chapters of Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida festival with
00:04the band Serenata Guayanesa as the main musical attraction.
00:08Let's see more details in the following report.
00:12The Aquiles Nazoa Cultural Center was the stage for the Viva Venezuela festival, which
00:17featured the Serenata Guayanesa Quartet and paid tribute to the states of Amazonas, Bolivar
00:23and Delta Amacuro.
00:26I came to see Serenata Guayanesa, which is a very old and important group, with their
00:31usual songs, like the one that says, La noche se muestra hermosa y rebosa de alegría.
00:36We sang that one yesterday at a birthday party here.
00:39For me, that song is wonderful, just like all the songs they sing.
00:45Well, Serenata Guayanesa has been working for more than 50 years to promote and disseminate
00:52Venezuelan music, and of course, it is very important to have this type of event, for
00:58greater diversion and for people to enjoy.
01:04The two days were full of color and joy.
01:06In addition to the music, the entrepreneurs were able to offer their products, as is the
01:11case of the network of gastronomic cultures of Guarenas, Guatire, Araida.
01:18We make all kinds of Creole desserts, trying to rescue everything that has been lost, desserts
01:23that many people no longer know.
01:28We make desserts such as stuffed turkey and coconut preserves.
01:32I have my profession, and then in my work I distributed my desserts.
01:39I have always sold my desserts since I learned to make them.
01:43Everywhere I have worked I have sold them, and now friends and people ask me, and I sell
01:48them here, in the cultural center.
01:54The festival, which has already registered 214 artists from Venezuela, will continue its
01:59artistic program with chapters dedicated to the Plains and the Andes.
02:05We are very proud of this festival that is touring the country, doing a beautiful job
02:09to make visible, recognize and dignify the culture and our artists.
02:17The invitation is for us to go to the activities that the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture
02:22organizes for everyone, for the enjoyment of the family.
02:28The festival is part of the great mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida, and it is
02:33a space that aims to promote music, sound, rhythm and popular dance, as well as to rescue,
02:39preserve and disseminate traditional values.
