00:00Every year, on the 30th of October, we celebrate the National Day of Charity.

00:05This is to promote compassion, solidarity, and social responsibility to us Filipinos.

00:11Not only that, aside from our government, there are also non-government organizations

00:16that are helping those in need in this celebration.

00:21Let's watch this.

00:23In the midst of trials and tribulations in life, helping others is a light to many

00:35to give hope and strength to those in need.

00:39One of the places where we often see help and care is in hospitals.

00:45Charity events are a big help, just like what a brotherhood organization

00:52that has been helping children in the National Children's Hospital for a long time.

00:56This year, they donated five compact multi-stage water filtration systems

01:02including financial donation for maintenance

01:06to ensure that it will continue to benefit the patients.

01:10This time, we donated a water filtration system

01:16because it's also in line with our advocacy to reduce plastic bottles.

01:23They have been doing various fundraising projects

01:28to raise funds for children with cancer.

01:32The National Children's Hospital has been our chosen beneficiary since 2017.

01:38In 2017, we did something for the National Children's Hospital.

01:43The National Children's Hospital is very grateful for the group's many years of help.

01:49We are very thankful to all the donors

01:52and will continue to be donors of the National Children's Hospital.

01:57You can count on our care for all your donations.

02:03Meanwhile, the two cancer patients were also helped.

02:07They were successful in bleeding and were given help.

02:13I am thankful for the help.

02:17It's a big thing for us, for my medication,

02:22and for my daily needs in my treatment.

02:39These projects are proof of their dedication to help those in need.

02:45Their projects give hope and support to young and old patients

02:51and to their families.

02:54It's very important for us to come up with projects that would bound the brother together.

02:59That is our new tradition.

03:01This is very important, our humanitarian and social civic projects

03:07because this is really the face of our organization

03:10to help those who are less fortunate in life.

03:15That is why President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. also sees the importance

03:20of helping those in need.

03:25He also declared October 30 as National Day of Charity,

03:30or Pambansang Araw ng Kawanggawa.

03:33Organizations and other groups are invited to celebrate National Charity Day

03:37to remind everyone that we all have the ability to give help and love to others.

03:44There is no big or small in helping.

03:46What's important is to open your heart to give hope to those in need.
