00:00The Department of the Interior and Local Government, or DILG,
00:04called on the local governments to ensure a peaceful and orderly implementation of the UNDAS in the country.
00:10In a statement by DILG Secretary Juanito Victor Janvik Rimulya,
00:15the Secretariat said that the LGUs should prepare for the preservation of public safety in cemeteries, memorial parks, and churches.
00:25Through the implementation of traffic enforcers, barangay guards, and medical personnel,
00:31the Secretariat also urged the public to be careful and vigilant against criminals and scammers
00:39who vandalize places where there are many people.
00:42Rimulya reminded the public to follow the guidelines in cemeteries and to avoid illegal activities.
00:50DILG also said that the Philippine National Police deployed 27,000 people in different parts of the country.
00:59The Bureau of Fire Protection and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology will also assist in meeting the needs of the public.
