Donald Trump recently made a speech from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, where he brought up the 2020 election and how Democrats “stole” it. 00:00Donald Trump recently made a speech from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, where his anti-immigration rhetoric was on hot display.
00:07The speech was broadcast via Fox News, and the former president also touched on the 2020 election, as he always does,
00:14outlining how the Democrats stole the election.
00:17However, very much unlike Fox News, afterwards, anchor Harris Faulkner fact-checked Trump.
00:22At the very beginning, you heard the former president talk about a stolen election.
00:26And while he may feel a certain way, the facts remain Joe Biden was declared the winner with 51% of the vote.
00:33States certified those results of the 2020 election, and Congress accepted those results.
00:38This is no doubt, at least in part, because the network was sued by Dominion Voting Systems for their false claims related to its voting machines.
00:45That lawsuit forced the media conglomerate to pay $787 million in a defamation settlement.
00:52But that's not the only one.
00:53They are currently still in litigation with Smartmatic.
00:56Another voting machine operator, Fox News has known the world over for its conservative programming,
01:01which has historically unequivocally supported the GOP candidate.
