00:00Closed out situation, Craig, you always like to see a bullpen game with a kid that's only
00:07pitched a couple innings opening up and turned into a lead early for the Dodgers and then
00:12the Yankees woke up and had some great stuff last night, which included a grand slam out
00:16of Volpe.
00:17But also one of the more interesting player fan interactions on the right field line between
00:22Mookie Betts and a fan.
00:24Some are saying that jumpstarted the game for the New York Yankees, Craig.
00:29No, Brent Honeywell jumpstarted the game for the New York Yankees.
00:34I think a lot of people who don't follow baseball that closely may have known that guy right
00:40there more than Brent Honeywell, who, by the way, used to be one of the top prospects in
00:44all of baseball, pitched for the Rays, but couldn't get anybody out yesterday and the
00:48game was over.
00:49And that's what I was saying, is I don't think that fan had anything to do with it.
00:52I think Dave Roberts, in a 3-0 situation with the team down a couple of runs, had a
00:59couple of choices to make, which was do we push and go all in to come back and tie this?
01:04Or do we just try and maintain this to see if we can stay in it?
01:07And they didn't.
01:09But now I think the Dodgers have basically all their top pitchers and everybody else
01:13ready to go for the rest of the series.
01:15But I definitely think you have to give the Yankees credit, absolutely, for coming back
01:20and taking that game yesterday.
01:22Inevitably, I really, again, based on history, and as long as I've been watching this, guys,
01:27no team comes down back from 0-3 to win it all.
01:31So could the Yankees certainly use that momentum, Donnie?
01:33I think you may be right.
01:34I think we could be headed back to L.A., but I still can't change my opinion on the way
01:38the series is going to end.
