Broaddus is going to sell us Cowboys fans some hopium after watching the Falcons defensive tape. He gives his scouting report on how he thinks Dallas can exploit a shaky Falcons pass rush in the video above.
Transcript
00:00All right, I'm going to sell you a little hopium here for the chief.
00:19You kind of told me yesterday that this Atlanta defense has got some poo cheese to it.
00:24It does.
00:25Yes.
00:26Yeah, it does.
00:27It does at every level.
00:28Yeah, it does.
00:29It does at every point where they really have some poo cheese.
00:31And tell me if you think you could take advantage of this in this football game.
00:35How about a team that when they rush four, because you watch them rush four all day and
00:41they never get anybody home.
00:42Yes.
00:43Yes.
00:44And they're creating like, you know, they create absolutely no pressure and then they
00:48blitz and they don't create any pressure.
00:50Perfect.
00:51Does it give you any hope as a Dallas Cowboy fan?
00:54Gives me a lot of hope.
00:55Or as somebody that maybe would like to see this football team win?
00:57If they can blitz and they don't get any pressure, Dak Prescott in his history has
01:02been very, very effective.
01:04Yeah.
01:05This, just like I said, I started watching these games, I started watching like Kansas
01:10City.
01:11I was watching Seattle.
01:12I was just trying to kind of, you know, some teams, these offenses.
01:15It's a little bit hard because you're thinking, you're watching other teams' offenses move
01:19the ball and you're thinking, well, maybe Dallas could do this.
01:23And then you kind of have to circle back and like, oh, maybe not.
01:26But there's some things that this Falcon defense is very deficient at.
01:29They struggle with the pass rush.
01:32They've only generated pressure on 24% of their dropbacks, of opponents' dropbacks this
01:38year.
01:39And that's sitting in four or fewer rushers.
