00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. invited his father, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.,

00:06who is now in the cemetery of Bayani.

00:08In a message, the President emphasized the importance of remembering our loved ones in life.

00:19It was past 9 in the morning when President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. arrived

00:24at his father's house, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr., in the cemetery of Bayani.

00:29Former President Ferdinand E. Marcos Jr. also arrived.

00:32A mass was held in front of the former President, who was blind.

00:36The President thanked those who were alone in their remembrance of his father.

00:41We were able to move forward because of your arrival,

00:48and especially because we feel your love from you.

00:55The Chief Executive also recited his memories with his father,

00:59that even though there is sadness, his inspiration is still above all else.

01:04When I was young, I saw that, and I said, that is a very beautiful guidance.

01:10Now that I am sitting here as President, his words became more important.

01:18In a separate message, the President said that the priority is to remember those who are still alive,

01:23those who opened the way for those who are facing adversity in this day and age.

01:27He also added, this is an opportunity for spiritual life to be better,

01:31not only for God, but for each and every one of us.

01:34This is also a reminder to strive for a better life,

01:37just like the saints who have the gift of patience, goodness, and humility.

01:42He also encouraged the public to pray with the family

01:46and to visit those who are still alive to join in the prayer

01:49and to thank them for the mark they left.

01:52President Marcos Jr. also hopes to remind the world of the values for the unity of the country,

01:58including faith, perseverance, and hope.

02:02He also insisted that love and kindness should be limited,

02:05as well as goodness for each and every one of us, just like the saints and the faithful.

02:10The President also insisted on what Vice President Sara Duterte said about her father.
