00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured that the government will continue to help the victims of the Christine typhoon until they recover.
00:11Aside from raising the morale of the victims of the typhoon,
00:15the President is focused on delivering all the needs of the victims,
00:20from food to their medical needs.
00:24Here is the report.
00:26President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sent these aid packages from Metro Manila to the Bicol Region where the Christine typhoon hit hard.
00:40Some of the packages were sent by satellites to have a communication line,
00:46generator set and water filtration that will temporarily supply electricity and clean water.
00:54They also received tons of processed meat products and 1,000 boxes of canned goods from private companies.
01:02Aside from this, the Department of Social Welfare and Development also sent 1,000 food packs and hygiene kits.
01:10President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received P80 million in financial aid from the province of Albay and the town of Naga.
01:19The President is focused on delivering all the needs of the victims of the typhoon
01:26and on continuing the rescue operation for those affected by the floods and landslides.
01:32There are other places that are still being rescued.
01:36But of course, those in evacuation centers that are being given relief goods,
01:41cash benefits have already started to be given so that people can go home.
01:52When they go home, they will have money for their needs.
01:56But we will continue to provide them with food packs until they can cook for themselves.
02:07President Marcos also ordered the additional medical teams to be sent to Bicol.
02:13Public hospitals in Naga City are still open, but most of the people are deployed in evacuation centers.
02:23The supply of medicine was assured.
02:26So for the medical concerns, it's usually the medicines that we have to look up.
