00:00When you look at the other game in the conference coach, Clemson and Louisville, Clemson coming
00:10off a bye.
00:11They're 4-0 at home this year.
00:13They've won those games by an average margin of victory of 28.4 points per game.
00:19Did pick up a win two weeks ago against Virginia, 48-31.
00:24They've dominated the series against Louisville.
00:26They have won eight straight heading into this matchup, but they're coming out of a
00:30bye.
00:31And we always talk about a bye being a benefit or a detriment to a team.
00:36How do you see the bye week affecting Clemson heading into week number 10?
00:40Well, I think they need it this late in the season.
00:43You need that bye week to get well.
00:45And Louisville may be the best team they play for the rest of the season.
00:48They don't line up against Miami, so this is probably the team they've got to beat to
00:53get through.
00:54And Louisville is a lot better than their record.
00:56They have lost three games, football games that, man, they could have won very easily
01:00against really good football teams.
01:03But again, I really consider that Clemson really, once they lost, I think of Georgia
01:07and I think of Clemson.
01:08Georgia lost that Alabama game.
01:10From that point forward, they've been getting better and better.
01:12You know, then Clemson lost that Georgia game.
01:15And from that point on, they're getting better and better.
01:17The key is Kaep Klubnick has become an outstanding quarterback.
01:20He's throwing the deep ball.
01:21And there's one thing Louisville has a trouble with.
01:23They have trouble with the vertical deep pass.
01:26And that's what Klubnick loves to do right now.
01:28And you saw them get exposed a couple of weeks ago against Miami.
01:32Cam Ward had great success over the middle part of the field in that seven-point win.
01:37So we'll see how that plays out from a defensive perspective.
01:40When you look at Clemson right now, averaging 190 rushing yards per game, they're throwing
01:45for 290 yards per game through the air with Klubnick.
01:48He's played very well, completing well over 65% of his passes, 20 touchdowns.
01:54And Coach, Clemson's offensive line has only allowed six sacks.
01:58So they're allowing Kaep Klubnick the time to locate his wide receivers this season.
02:03Well, again, you're looking at the running game is going with the passing game.
02:07And it doesn't matter which one comes first.
02:10He's hitting the vertical passes downfield.
02:12And now that spreads out the safeties of the secondary.
02:15So that running game starts working.
02:17And then when the defensive line has to worry about a run to a pass, they can't put their
02:21ears back and go after the quarterback.
02:23So that run game helps them protect the quarterback, easier to protect the quarterback when you're
02:27running the football, and it gives the quarterback a break every now and then and not have to
02:31throw every down.
