00:07Wiltshire I finally made it and it was worth the journey after Walsall booked their place

00:13in the FA Cup second round for the fourth season in a row in dramatic fashion as they

00:18beat Ligue 1 outfit Bolton Wanderers 2-1. Matt Sadler made two changes from the goalless

00:24draw against Accrington last week with Jack Herring coming in against his former club

00:29for a start and Albert Adoma partnering Nathan Lowe in attack. Both teams had chances in

00:35the first half, Walsall also made a bright start to the second half but Josh Sheehan

00:41bent a delightful free kick into the top corner from 25 yards out to give the visitors the

00:48lead but Walsall responded almost immediately. Liam Gordon rifled a volley into the roof

00:54of the net on the hour to score against his former club and the momentum was very much

01:01with Walsall after that and they were roared on by a fantastic Bescott crowd. Jamie Jellis

01:09hit the post with a scooped finish. Harry Williams then took a heavy blow to the head

01:15when he crashed into the advertising hoardings. There was some concern but he eventually was

01:19back on his feet. The stretcher did come over but he walked off the pitch with his head

01:23bloodied but it was good to see him on his feet after that incident and Walsall had more

01:29chances after that. Taylor Allen and Conor Barrett tested Luke Southwood in the Bolton

01:33goal from distance. At the start, in the first minute of nine minutes of additional time,

01:42Tommy Simpkin pumped the ball long, Nathan Lowe brought it down, slotted the ball into

01:47Jamie Jellis' path and he kept his cool to tuck the ball beyond Southwood and Sam Bescott

01:53into Rapture. Some great scenes there. Tommy Simpkin ran over to the home fans on the

01:58side that I was on and pumping his arms profusely. So a great and memorable occasion for Walsall

02:05as they reached the second round.
