00:00Good evening Sadler's fans. I've just stopped shivering and took the
00:06salvation of my car after Walsall have stretched their lead at the top of
00:12League Two to six points with a 2-0 victory at Harrogate Town. That's now
00:18three away wins on the bounce for Walsall and four clean sheets on the road
00:24in the league for the first time since 1993. The conditions were absolutely
00:33chaotic and the wind had a big part to play in proceedings and the
00:40rain soon joined it in the second half. Matt Sadler made two changes from the
00:471-0 win against Barrow last weekend. Jamie Jellis came back in as Jack
00:54Earing dropped to the bench. George Hall obviously out with a hamstring injury.
00:58Jamil Matt was suspended and Matt Sadler gave Albert Odoma the nod over
01:05Danny Johnson as he led the line and it was a first half that was really
01:10deprived of many moments of quality with both teams trying to navigate the
01:15treacherous conditions but when Walsall did get the ball down they played some
01:19nice football and it was a moment of magic from Nathan Lowe who stole the
01:25ball around 30 yards and goal and drove a powerful low strike into the far
01:29bottom corner. That's now ten goals for him in League Two and 13 across all
01:34competitions and March was then given his early marching orders four minutes
01:40later as Harrogate suffered a second blow in quick succession. He was given a
01:47second yellow card for an elbow on Taylor Allen. Walsall started the second
01:52half well. Some really good link-up play between Jamie Jellis and Connor Barrett.
01:57Albert Odoma was a live wire. He got him behind a couple of times and created a
02:02couple of good opportunities and Walsall were just really knocking on the door in
02:06that second half. Charlie Lakin forced a good save from Balshaw and the second
02:11eventually arrived Lakin with the low cross. Albert Odoma with a nice first
02:16touch and he placed a tidy finish into the bottom corner. Walsall had more
02:21chances with Taylor Allen forcing a nice fingertip save from Balshaw. Liam Gordon
02:29charged into the box and forced another save from the Harrogate goalkeeper
02:33late on and Tommy Simpkin right at the end preserved his clean sheet with a
02:38fine save to prevent Matt Daly. So Walsall marched on top of the table at
02:46Christmas as was guaranteed before kickoff anyway but Port Vale's goalless
02:50draw means it's now six points at the top of the table.
