00:00So this project, firstly I would like to say that it's been directed by my brother, which
00:11I am very, very excited about and it's a home production.
00:16So this project, Bekhabar, it's a musical short film where this character, she has some
00:25problems with her mother.
00:29She has this feeling that it's because of her that her father is not with them.
00:36And she kind of moves, she leaves the house and she goes.
00:42And during the journey, during that particular journey, when the apocalypse happens, that's
00:51when she realizes that, when she confronts the past and she realizes that she's made
00:57such a huge mistake and how important it is to live your life and not have any regrets.
01:08Love your loved ones.
01:10I mean, kabhi bhi kuch bhi ho sakta hai, you just never know.
01:13So that's the crux of the film.
01:20I think the entire film is very, very challenging, I would say, because, you know, I had so many
01:27action sequences, I'm running around, I'm jumping from here to there.
01:32So for that particular song only, I think for a month, I kind of trained in boxing and
01:38yoga because boxing kind of gives you that strength on your shoulder, your stamina, the
01:46entire thing, your body.
01:48So and yoga, it helps, also helps.
01:50So I think because of that, it kind of helped me to be fit in the film.
01:56And the most difficult shot, I think, was when I had to jump, like almost 10 feet higher,
02:05there was this rock, I had to jump from there.
02:08That was very, very difficult.
02:09I asked my brother, I want a dupe, I cannot do this on my own, kyunki wo bahot hi zyada
02:14difficult tha.
02:16But he said, because I'm an adventurous person, and he also knows that I'm a mountaineer also.
02:21So he said, you can do it, we don't need a dupe, like just for one shot, we cannot have
02:25a dupe.
02:26I mean, I know you can do it.
02:27We'll have, we'll keep mattresses over there, like very, very safe, safety, like it's going
02:33to be all, we'll take all safety measures.
02:36So then I said, I thought about it and then I said, Okay, fine, let me go for it.
02:39And that was, but wo jo jump tha usme maine itne var Om Namah Shivaya, Om Namah Shivaya
02:43kiya hoga, I only know.
02:45And then finally it happened and it came out very nice.
02:53So this, it has a lot of intense scenes, yes.
02:58And I think we kind of had a little workshop just before the shoot.
03:05Like we sat and discussed what kind of scenes, how do you want to portray the scenes.
03:11And I think that becomes a little easier for an actor to then portray on the camera.
03:17So I think that that's what helped me to perform those scenes.
03:26I mean, definitely you do have your ups and downs with your family members.
03:33You do have your, you know, kind of regrets, you kind of have so many things.
03:40So I think these things kind of helped me bring that character to life.
03:47I think, I mean, obviously, any human being will go through ups and downs.
03:53I mean, they will have fights with their family, with their friends.
03:58So I think, I mean, these things kind of helped me put this character in a way that could
04:06relate, that could be relatable.
04:09So yeah, I think other than that, I think it's all about how your director wants you
04:14to perform.
04:15That's what matters.
04:23I think the roles which gives me some kind of satisfaction that I'm kind of doing something
04:33different from what I am usually.
04:36And I think I choose those kind of roles, which helps me as an actor also.
04:42And I think has some kind of an impact on people.
04:48So those are the projects I prefer.
04:56So the transition was quite easy.
05:02But to sustain in Bollywood, that was kind of a little difficult.
05:07I mean, I will say also that is because of me, my laziness, I would say.
05:14I think if you are in this industry, you have to be always on your toes, you have to be
05:20always a go-getter.
05:22So but luckily, by God's grace, God has been kind, I've been working from so long, I've
05:28kept getting work.
05:30And now I'm trying to be a little more aggressive, so that I get more work and more scene.
05:35So that's the hope.
05:44I think we are kind of adopting it very well, I would say.
05:48I mean, because the actors are getting so many opportunities digitally also.
05:54So we have like earlier, it was only films or TV or ads.
05:58I mean, there were so many actors who couldn't reach to the films.
06:04I mean, it was very difficult for so many actors to come out.
06:08But now for the actors and for the technicians, we have so many platforms to show your acting
06:15skills.
06:16So I think it's a great time for everybody in the industry.
