00:00Continuing on topic on the U.S. key presidential election, we go live with a special envoy,
00:04Carlos Montero, for more details as the election entries final stretch.
00:13Good morning from the capital of the USA. We are really close to election day,
00:19one of the most important elections in the history of this country. Why we are here in
00:25this important avenue? Because I want to show you guys how USA is ready for tomorrow. Those are
00:33important stores and they are very scared that tomorrow maybe there is violence. So what the
00:39owner of the store did, they put that plaque of good to see there is violence because it's a
00:46possibility. One of the most important papers of the USA, the one who has the most circulation,
00:53the USA Today, reflected very clearly in the cover, prepping for protest and possible violence.
01:03Because what happens if tomorrow, let's say, Kamala Harris wins the election and Donald Trump
01:11doesn't accept what his people are going to do. Those people, they say it is better to prevent
01:18anything of craziness so that we cover our glasses windows with that good to see hopefully
01:24nothing is going to happen. But let's talk about what's going on today. The last day is going to
01:30be the end of a crazy campaign, that political campaign. We have two intent of assassination
01:38to one of the candidates. The withdrawal of another candidate, the vice president Kamala
01:44Harris, took his place. But today, the two candidates, what they are going to do? Let's
01:49start with Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris is going to be in Pennsylvania. It's one of the states that
01:56could go to either party, to blue or red, Republican or Democrat. Nineteen electoral votes
02:04depends on that state. Kamala Harris is going to put all his cards in that state. It's going to be
02:12different cities of Pennsylvania. And one of those is going to be the closing at night,
02:21what she's going to do in Philadelphia. She's going to do an important act. It's going to have
02:28a lot of her followers, famous people. It's going to be Lady Gaga. It's going to be Oprah Winfrey.
02:37Oprah Winfrey is one of the most important communicators in the USA. She used to have a
02:42talk show, very famous, and they are going to support Kamala Harris. Let's wait to see what
02:48she has to say. Let's talk now about Donald Trump. Donald Trump is going to have a busy,
02:54busy day. He's going to start in North Carolina in Raleigh. North Carolina is another of the states
03:00that could go either way, Republican or Democrat. We don't know. Then he's going to go to
03:06Pennsylvania. He's going to go in two cities. And then he's going to finish this race,
03:14his campaign in Michigan. Michigan is the same place where he finished in 2020 and 2016. So
03:22that's when he's going to close the campaign. A lot of things are happening here. And the
03:28most important is that all the polls say that's going to be a very tight race. And those seven
03:37states, they call it the Pendle State, they could go either way, can't define this election. It's
03:44going to be a very important election. Telesur English, Telesur Spanish is going to be covering
03:50that. I mean, all the details. And we are going to bring you all the information as soon as it
03:55happens. I go back to you at the studio. Thank you, Carlos, for the latest information.
04:01We'll stay tuned with you in the upcoming news brief.
