00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed his gratitude to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim

00:08for the help that was provided to the victims of Hurricane Christine,

00:11which is a big thing to speed up the delivery of relief goods.

00:19Following the disaster of Hurricane Christine and Leon,

00:22the help from various countries also poured in

00:24for the humanitarian assistance and disaster response efforts

00:27that the government continues to carry out.

00:30According to the latest NDRRMC data,

00:33there have been 60 response operations

00:36of air asset assistance from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam.

00:41This is what President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed his gratitude.

00:45In his conversation with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim,

00:49the President expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided by Malaysia

00:52for the response of the Philippines to the effects of Hurricane Christine.

00:56According to the President,

00:57there were areas that were still flooded due to the air assets of Malaysia,

01:01as a reason to receive help from the families in need.

01:04In addition, the Chief Executive,

01:06who is in front of the opening of the country due to the aftermath of the hurricane,

01:10is excited to see the assistance of Asian countries

01:13that are just showing their solidarity with the region.

01:16Due to the unparalleled action of the government,

01:19the amount of assistance that was provided to the affected by Hurricane Christine and Leon

01:25includes food and non-food items from the DSWD, OCD, LGUs, and non-government organizations.

01:33More than a million family food packs were also distributed by the DSWD.

01:37The agency continues to provide assistance to the affected by the hurricane

01:43through the round-the-clock delivery of family food packs to the areas in need.

01:48This has made it easier for the local government,

01:51especially some volunteers, to help with the repacking of FFPs.

01:55The government is continuously on alert in the face of the possible effects of Hurricane Marseille.
