Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday: Chris Holt, Joe Crann and Danny Hall with a preview of The Steel City Derby which is back after 5 years
Transcript
00:00Danny Dewar just touched on it there. For all intents and purposes it looked, not even a draw for a while, it looked like they were going to go into the match on Saturday on the back of a defeat after trailing 1-0 Bristol City and then two really late goals.
00:18And that feels big now, doesn't it? Those players will have come out there absolutely buzzing and their heads on Saturday going, we're going to win this, this is going to be absolutely brilliant.
00:33It's another tick in the box, isn't it? There's more than one way to win a game as we know, you can play teams off the park, you can just relentlessly, professionally grind them down as we saw at Blackburn on Saturday where they didn't really get out of second gear and it was more than enough.
00:47And then sometimes you just have to roll up your sleeves and show some character, show what you're about, show what drives you as a person and what drives you as a player and that's what they did last night.
01:00They weren't great, which we've said quite a few times this season. I'm still convinced that we haven't seen United out of third gear. Perhaps I think there's so many more levels for this team to go through. I'm not saying they will on Sunday, although I hope they do obviously, but I still think there's a lot more to come from this team.
01:18It's still gelling together, there's so many new players in the summer. I keep saying that over and over again, it sounds like a broken record, but it's really important I think to recognise the scale of the overhaul.
