A woman who thought her sister was joking when she said her newborn had been named after her bursts into tears when she realizes she is telling the truth. Despite a seven-year age gap, Katie Staten, 23, and Brook Fondriest, 30, from Dayton, Ohio, have always been extremely close, often sharing jokes and making each other laugh. Katie has always looked up to her older sister, and so she felt honored when she was asked to be present for the delivery of Brook's most-recent child. The delivery was set to be exciting, Kate added, as Brook and her husband, Danny, did not know the gender of the baby, so it would be a complete surprise. The couple had a name in mind for the child, and after their little girl was born, in Miami Valley Hospital, they decided to break the news to Katie.
