00:00The Chiefs are not, are not one of the best three teams in the NFL.
00:09Sounds kind of shocking, doesn't it?
00:10Like you idiots.
00:11What kind of question is that?
00:13When you think about it, to me, with the record that the Chiefs have, I technically, you know,
00:18sell that thought process, right?
00:20I don't buy it because I do think the Kansas City Chiefs are really good, but I gotta be
00:24honest with you.
00:26The way it sets up when you see the odds market, right, like to win the Super Bowl.
00:30It's right that the Kansas City Chiefs, to be honest, do have the best numbers to do
00:35that.
00:36They're at a plus 4.20 price to win the Super Bowl, followed by the Lions at plus 4.80,
00:40the Ravens at plus 6.50.
00:41That's the top three.
00:43Bills plus 8.50 and San Francisco 10 to 1.
00:46So five teams at 10 to 1 or less.
00:48Just outside of that is the Philadelphia Eagles at 12 to 1.
00:52But here's what you have to factor in.
00:53Like I do believe, like if the Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs played in front of no fans
00:59on a neutral state, the Detroit Lions would really give it to them.
01:02And I think the Baltimore Ravens would as well.
01:04But we've seen this story play out before.
01:07Last year, the Buffalo Bills were supposed to give it to the Kansas City Chiefs in the
01:10divisional round of the playoff.
01:12Chiefs went on the road and beat the Bills.
01:14And then it was, all right, that's fine.
01:16They played a good football game.
01:17But the Chiefs season ends today in Baltimore in the AFC championship game.
01:22And as we know, that didn't happen.
01:25Baltimore Ravens played one of the worst game scripts you can ever have.
01:28And watching it play out in front of my eyes, I was astonished, and they lost.
01:31But the one thing we have to agree upon is, I don't think the Chiefs are the most talented team.
01:36Their defense works well.
01:37Their offensive line is solid, particularly from guard, center, guard.
01:40The tackles struggle a little bit, but Kelsey, when he gets it together, has been playing
01:44much better lately.
01:45He's one of the best tight ends in football.
01:46Serviceable wide receivers, now they have DeAndre Hopkins, Sidney Rice not coming back
01:51this year.
01:52But to them, we get it.
01:53Young player, unworthy, hasn't shown up yet this year.
01:55I mean, what's he waiting on?
01:56And you do have competent running backs.
01:58And also, once you get back Isaiah Pacheco, that's going to help out.
02:01But the reason why they're a plus 420 price is, you have to get to the Super Bowl if you
02:06want to win it.
02:07Like, just simple thoughts.
02:09You can't get knocked out in round number one and win the Super Bowl, right?
02:12It's easy.
02:13It's paint by number.
02:14Simplicity.
02:15But the fact of the matter is the Kansas City Chiefs are unbeaten right now.
02:18And I'm pulling up their actual schedule itself.
02:21Because I've talked about it before.
02:22There's two spots on that schedule where they can really get tripped up with an effective
02:27loss.
02:28Quite frankly, they probably already should have some losses.
02:30But they don't.
02:31They're unbeaten.
02:32They're perfect.
02:33They're 8-0.
02:34Broncos game in the division, I don't think they lose that this week.
02:35But then they go on the road to the Buffalo Bills, November 17th.
02:38That's a tough spot.
02:39Fast forward all the way to Christmas Day.
02:41They're going to be on a holiday in Pittsburgh on the road.
02:45In Pittsburgh, probably fighting for either A. the playoffs, B. to win their division
02:49or C. just trying to improve their seeding.
02:52Those are two tough tripped up spots.
02:54But the reason I bring those up is, let's just say they lose them both.
02:57They're probably still going to be the AFC's number one overall seed.
03:02Which means you are going to have to beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead in order
03:06to advance.
