00:00More than 30,000 individuals have been affected by the typhoon Marseille, according to the Office of the Civil Defense.

00:08The agency has confirmed that it has prepositioned the people in need of help,

00:13in accordance with the order of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:21Yes, Angelic, that's right. More than 30,000 individuals have been affected by the typhoon Marseille, according to the Office of the Civil Defense.

00:34Angelic, OCD Undersecretary Ariel De Pomuceno explained that their recovery efforts are still ongoing

00:42from the typhoons Christine and Leon.

00:45Their latest data shows that 17,019 individuals or 2,059 families are currently in the evacuation areas of Region 1, 2 and Cortillera Administrative Region,

00:57while 10,792 severely affected families are in the regions or 32,138 individuals.

01:07In the latest update received by OCD, five roads are not passable in Region 2.

01:12Eight road sections are not passable in Region 1, 2 and Cortillera,

01:16while there are landslides in some places in Cagayan and Ilocos Norte.

01:20Also, the seawall collapsed in Pagudpud due to the impact of the typhoon Marseille.

01:25There are also 14 LGUs that have experienced power interruptions in Region 1, 2 and Cortillera, according to De Pomuceno.

01:32While they are waiting for the latest updates from the field,

01:35it was confirmed that the needs of assistance are prepositioned,

01:38also in accordance with the orders of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

01:41such as clean water, food packs from DSWD and non-food items such as hygiene kits,

01:46and medical kits from DOH.

01:58The OCD also confirmed that the assets of the Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine National Police are prepositioned,
