00:00We have reached about 700 subscribers,
00:07of which the vast majority is represented by young specialists in gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy.
00:16A novelty is certainly also the use of technology,
00:22and so I speak to you immediately of a novelty on which SIERC wanted to invest, which is the app.
00:29There is an app with which there is a continuous interactivity between the public and the moderators,
00:37so that the curiosities that emerge from the room,
00:42which sometimes, by asking the question live, one feels a little embarrassed towards the experts,
00:49there is more freedom of expression.
00:51And so I would say that one of the main reasons for this course,
00:56which mission is the training, in particular the training of young people.
01:00Of these 700 subscribers, 105 were the study scholarships assigned to under-35s,
01:08therefore young doctors who have recently entered the world of work,
01:12to whom the training is directed, as I repeat, on a topic,
01:18the topic of digestive hemorrhages, which is a very transversal topic.
01:23It concerns young people, it concerns the less young,
01:26but the digestive hemorrhage certainly scares a doctor who has just taken over
01:32in the departments of gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy.
01:36It is scary because the digestive hemorrhage can present itself in a dramatic way,
01:41in which one must act urgently, with cultural and technical skills of a certain level,
01:48and, let's say, young people will soon have to face this aspect on their own,
01:57which often puts them at a disadvantage.
02:00Therefore, the training given also by this course will offer the spur for professional growth,
02:07it will give the opportunity to know organizational models,
02:10which also count in the management of these pathologies when the pathology is time-dependent,
02:16knowledge of the pathologies that cause the digestive hemorrhage,
02:20their clinical and endoscopic management,
02:23and, finally, it also gives an opportunity to these young people
02:31to also confront themselves with experts outside the work tables.
