00:00We got a classic and some say an instant classic after Thursday night football.
00:07What an insane, incredible, exciting game right down to the finish.
00:11Worth the price of admission and worth watching without a doubt.
00:15Last night the Baltimore Ravens, you could say, escaped victory against the Cincinnati Bengals.
00:20As with the game almost tied with less than a minute to go, the Bengals opted to go for a two-point conversion.
00:27It failed, and the Ravens end up capturing the victory.
00:33There have only been two times in NFL history where quarterbacks had 30 completions, 300 passing yards,
00:39four touchdowns, multiple 40-yard touchdown passes, no more than one interception, and they lost.
00:45That's Joe Burrow last night. He was fantastic.
00:48A career game also for Jamar Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals, but all for naught as the Ravens,
00:55thanks to a failed two-point conversion with almost no time left, take the control of the division.
01:02John Harbaugh extremely happy after the game yesterday to escape with a win.
01:07Okay, two-two great. They said it all right there.
01:10I'm just so proud of our guys. Hearts of Lions win a game like that, truly.
01:16And I'll also say this, you know, we stay humble about it.
01:20Let him who glories glory in God alone, and we do that.
01:25We understand that we have a lot to work on, but we're very grateful for that win,
01:29and we're very grateful for our guys, man, the way our guys play, how they fight, how they don't give up.
01:34Just what he said, there's still time on the clock.
01:36You keep fighting, found a way right down to the end, even the defense getting the stop on the two-point play,
01:41and that's what it took. It took a stop at the end to win the game, and our defense did that.
01:45Our Darius made that play, and the pass rush was there, too.
01:49So I'm very proud of the guys. Hats off to the Bengals.
01:52I think they do a great job, and it's an AFC North football game for sure.
01:57And meanwhile, on the side of the Cincinnati Bengals, oh so close to beating the Baltimore Ravens,
02:02and that's kind of been their story all season, oh so close.
02:05A lot of really close, tough losses, as the Bengals probably now need to win out
02:09to make the playoffs Joe Burrow talked about coming up short along with Jamar Chase last night.
02:13Yeah, we just got to make the opportunities that are there, make the plays.
02:18We did in spots, and we didn't in spots tonight, and that's been the story of our season.
02:24So I'm going to do everything in my power to continue to be ready for the opportunities that come.
02:32Try to take advantage of them.
02:34Your record is what your record is, and you are what your record is.
02:38So we're four and six football team right now, and it's going to be an uphill battle to get back into this thing.
02:44But, you know, I like what we have in the locker room.
02:48I like the coaches that we have up there, and so let's keep plugging along.
02:53I don't think we have a lack of killer instinct.
02:55I just don't think we finish in the right way at the end.
03:02I feel like the offense had a chance to put it away.
03:04We didn't.
03:07Cam also had a chance to put the game away, and we didn't, so we let that slip short.
03:13Yeah, it's crazy to say that.
03:14I would never in a million years expect me to play this well, and he played this well, and we still have a record like this.
03:20Yeah, no question.
03:21Jamar Chase right now, statistically speaking, the number one wide receiver in the National Football League.
03:25All right, now let's get to a team that could use any kind of good news.
03:29It just doesn't seem to be happening.
03:30Is this a lost season for the Philadelphia 76ers?
03:33Another one of their stars goes down.
03:35This time it's Tyrese Maxey going to miss a couple of weeks because of a hamstring injury.
03:38Of course, Joel Embiid has been out.
03:40Paul George has just come back, and the Sixers are off to a horrific start.
03:43We'll see what this means for the future of Philly.
03:45NBA's a long season, folks.
03:47It goes all the way, of course, through the spring, but as of right now, Philly for sure needing some good news in any way.
03:53All right, FanDuel Sports Network has secured the rights to another team to broadcast, and this time it is the St. Louis Cardinals.
04:00They have signed a new agreement.
04:02They're going to stay on the FanDuel Sports Network.
04:04The Atlanta Braves have also reached an agreement there.
04:07Other team that we're expecting over the next week or two to remain on FanDuel would be the Miami Marlins.
04:12Also, it's being reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the Cardinals are taking a 20% pay cut in terms of what their normal TV rights were,
04:20and that's happening all around the league.
04:22Also, Buffalo Bills ruled out wide receiver Keon Coleman going into this week.
04:26Coleman, a rookie, has scored a couple of touchdowns this season for them.
04:30All right, now let's go over to the National Football League, the latest news and notes,
04:34and yes, for those of you who play fantasy football and you had the number one overall pick in the draft
04:40and you had Christian McCaffrey taken as the number one overall pick in the draft, what is your record?
04:44Are you still in this thing?
04:46Because if you are, you're getting Christian McCaffrey back.
04:48This week, he's going to make his debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
04:51Not quite sure how much he'll play, but needless to say, if you hung around in your fantasy league,
04:57you're probably going to get a big boost down the stretch.
04:59McCaffrey back for San Francisco.
05:01Meanwhile, Trevor Lawrence is going to miss this week's game for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
05:06He had a left shoulder injury, and old friend Mac Jones, formerly of the New England Patriots,
05:11remember him?
05:12He's going to start this week against the Vikings.
05:13Also, Andrew Billings of the Bears.
05:16Nose tackle put on IR, likely out for the season.
05:19All right, let's get to some college football.
05:21Big win for Coastal Carolina yesterday.
05:23They beat App State 38-24.
05:26Braden Bennett rushed for three touchdowns in that game.
05:29Also, East Carolina dominated FAU.
05:31They were big favorites, and they ended up crushing them, 49-14.
05:35Friday Night Lights in the Big Ten.
05:37Iowa, five-and-a-half-point favorites at UCLA.
05:40Iowa, pretty good.
05:41UCLA, not so good.
05:43Total is 44-and-a-half.
05:44And also, Texas-wide receiver Jontae Cook Jr. is no longer with the program.
05:48Coach Steve Sarkeesian has announced that the one-time very hot recruit is going to go play somewhere else.
05:53You know who else is headed elsewhere?
05:55The good story.
05:57I wouldn't say it comes to an end, but at least it's on pause.
06:00Bronny James is no longer going to play for the Los Angeles Lakers main team.
06:06He's headed to the Rookie League, the G League, where he'll make his debut against Salt Lake City.
06:10He'll spend some time there, develop a little bit.
06:12We'll see if he comes back to the Lakers at some point this season.
06:16Memphis Grizzlies, they ruled out John Morant.
06:19They play tonight against the Wizards.
06:21And the big story in the NBA has been the Cleveland Cavaliers.
06:24They play a great matchup tonight.
06:26We'll see who the better team is, the Golden State Warriors.
06:29And Cleveland, four-and-a-half point favorites.
06:31And tonight, a rematch of the NBA Finals a couple of years ago between Denver and Miami.
06:35Miami's on the road, and they're three-and-a-half point underdogs against Jokic and company.
06:40Meanwhile, over to some college basketball.
06:43Last night, number 21 Florida beats Jacksonville, 81-60.
06:47Alex Condon had 23 points on 7-of-7 shooting.
06:53Also, the Tar Heels are at Allen Fieldhouse as Kansas is 7-and-a-half point favorites over 9 USC.
06:59Shaka Smart at number 18 Marquette, 11-and-a-half point favorites against George Mason.
07:04And Alabama, 22-and-a-half point favorites taking on Arkansas State with a total of 167-and-a-half.
07:12And that's the latest in college basketball as well.
07:15Also, one quick note from college football yesterday, a renewal of sorts as Scott Strickland,
07:20the athletic director of the University of Florida,
07:22announced that Billy Napier will be back to coach the Gators once again next season.
