Nabulabog ang ilang user ng isang e-wallet nang magising na may mga maanomalyang transaksyon sila na nauwi sa pagkawala ng kanilang pera. Kabilang diyan ang Kapuso artist na si Pokwang na nawalan ng mahigit P80,000 sa kanyang account!

00:21Within a minute, Roland lost Php 90,000 in his Gcash account for his business.

00:35In Roland's transaction history, more than 40 consecutive transfer of money occurred.

00:42In each transaction, it was stated that he sent an amount of Php 1,000 to two numbers.

02:20In a statement, Gcash said that what happened

02:56So could it possibly be a phishing attack instead of a breach in the system of Gcash?

03:03Because given the amount of the reports, if it's a breach, it should be in the millions.

03:10DICT is warning the public.

03:12Don't give your OTP or one-time password to anyone.

03:17Don't just click on links.

03:19Change your passwords.

03:21And report to the authorities any breaches or activities in your accounts or mobile devices.
