00:30You're working against time all the time actually, you know, so you have to deliver seven days
00:35a week, sometimes six days a week.
00:38So it is a very challenging job.
00:40It's a very challenging genre, a format that you have, that you are a part of.
00:45So you've got to be mentally ready for it.
00:47You've got to be physically ready for it to be able to do a daily show.
00:56I personally feel that after four years of playing a character, it is very difficult
01:06for the character to grow, whether it is Anupama's character, or Vanraja's character, or any
01:14other character for that matter.
01:16The character becomes, I think, it's just, it becomes like a straight line, you know,
01:26there is no graph in it.
01:28And I personally felt that yes, my growth was stunted, because four years I gave almost
01:37everything into that character and I didn't see what I had left to offer to that character
01:44anymore, and that which is why I opted out of Anupama.
01:52There is no such thing as anybody influencing or affecting my personal or professional life.
01:58And scenes with Rupali Ganguly used to happen every day, so everyone used to watch it.
02:06I don't know where this news comes from that we weren't shooting scenes.
02:10We were shooting every day together, we were, you know, having fun, we were laughing, you
02:17know, and it was absolutely normal.
02:21I don't know where these rumours come from, because if we don't shoot together, then
02:26what we used to see on television, where we used to fight with each other, where did that
02:30come from?
02:31So that is utter rubbish, I think it's just rumours, you should let the rumours be rumours
02:36only, they are not reality.
02:40So yeah.
02:45I don't think I've experienced that, because with whatever work that I've done, I feel
02:57my identity as an actor has become such that anybody who would want to cast me would be
03:05very sure that if we want Sudhanshu for this character, then we need Sudhanshu only.
03:11So I've never had to face any favouritism or being shown to anybody else.
03:22Yes, so I haven't experienced that, because I've done over 50 feature films, and this
03:28was my first daily show.
03:30So if I've transitioned so well from films to this, then for me, transitioning back to
03:33films is not going to be a big deal.
03:41I don't need to handle much, because I think when the audiences react like that, it means
03:47that they're emotionally connected to the character.
03:50And that is something very, very good, because if they do not react, I will really get worried,
03:55because that would mean I'm not doing my job properly.
04:00So if they are reacting, which means I'm doing my job properly, and I let it come.
04:10I think more than anything else, it's internalising the character.
04:17Whenever I have to play something intense or something, I always internalise, I always
04:22get in touch with the emotion in words, and I touch upon that emotion in such a way that
04:30I'm able to execute the emotion to the audiences on screen, and in such a way that they also
04:37feel my emotion very, very strongly.
04:40So if I'm crying, they are also crying.
04:44It is something that is not very easy to explain, but I guess it is a very spiritual process,
04:50because you have to get in touch with your conscience, it's an inward journey, I would
04:55say, to get in touch with their emotion, and execute it in such a way that the audience
05:00also connects with it.
