00:00Let's update on the direction and strength of Hurricane Nika, let's find out from Pagasa Weather Specialist, Joey Figurazon.

00:09Good evening to all of our viewers.

00:16At the moment, we are continuously monitoring Hurricane Nika in our area of responsibility.

00:22We are continuously monitoring the situation and we believe that it will be stronger and will reach the 5th category.

00:31Earlier this afternoon at 4pm, the center of Hurricane Nika was hit by a strong wind of 380 kmph.

00:41It was hit by a strong wind of 110 kmph near the center of the city of Pagusan at 135 kmph.

00:51It is currently moving at a speed of 20 kmph.

00:57We hope that while Hurricane Nika is moving, it will reach the 5th category.

01:08According to our forecast, it will hit the provinces of Isabela and northern parts of Aurora tomorrow morning or until the afternoon.

01:23Meanwhile, it is expected that it will rain heavily due to the rain bands of Hurricane Nika.

01:32It is expected that it will rain heavily until tomorrow afternoon in Cagayan, Apayao, Abra, Calinga, Mountain Province, Ipugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Saquerino, Quezon, Catanduanes, Camarena Provinces, and Northern Tamar.

01:54It is also expected that it will rain heavily until dawn in Aurora and Isabela.
