(Adnkronos) - In occasione dell’edizione 2024 di Ecomondo, l’evento annuale leader nei settori della green and circular economy, nonché punto di incontro tra industrie, stakeholder, policy maker, opinion leader, mondo della ricerca e delle istituzioni e mette a sistema gli elementi chiave che definiscono le strategie di sviluppo della politica ambientale dell’Unione Europea, svoltosi dal 5 all’8 novembre a Rimini, Ecopneus, società senza scopo di lucro tra i principali responsabili della gestione di pneumatici fuori uso , ha voluto concentrarsi sulle applicazioni nello sport incontrando le maggiori associazioni dello sport per parlare del percorso della sostenibilità.

01:07which rewards long-term roads with less acoustic impact and greater resistance.
01:14These are all qualities and performance that can be guaranteed by the use of dust and tire recycling in the asphalt.
01:22We are here to promote and remember the 1,000 applications
01:26and the great performance of this material and this important resource.
01:29Over the years, Ecopneus has achieved significant results.
01:33In 2023, a collection of 187,000 tons of out-of-service tires
01:38allowed to avoid the emission of about 300,000 tons of CO2
01:43and a savings of 81 million euros in terms of imported virgin materials.
01:48Results that we have already planned to achieve this year
01:52and we have once again made available to the Ministry of Environment for 2024
01:57to do an activity up to 10% more than our legal target
02:02because we want to make it available to intervene on emergencies and on the criticisms that are on the territory.
02:11We can do more, there is a need for coordination and collaboration.
02:15We have opened the dialogue with all our colleagues,
02:18our consortia, stakeholders, associations and citizens
02:22because we believe that dialogue and collaboration are the key to make the system work
02:29in the context of the ecological transition of the country.
02:32Unfortunately, there are quantities of out-of-service tires
02:38that escape the monitoring and control activities
02:42so we are ready to intervene in this emergency situation
02:46with urgent interventions, with an extraordinary planning of logistics activities
02:51giving this availability and this activity to the Ministry.
