00:00The education sector has a 50 billion shortfall, alam naman natin, maraming walang mga classrooms, no?
00:08And healthcare remains underfunded, with one in three Filipinos unable to afford medical care and climate adaptation,
00:19receiving less than 1% of the national budget.
00:22And on the question kung how are Filipinos fading, the latest social weather station survey said that the self-rated poverty of Filipinos is at 55%.
00:40This is just to provide a context na ano ba ang nangyayari?
00:45Of course, we'll have other speakers to discuss about what's happening in the economy and trade and education.
00:55But for now, I just provided those data for us to consider where is our money going.
01:07Remember, this is taxpayers' money.
01:11So we already ordered three batches of India-made Brahmos missiles, no?
01:18The world's fastest supersonic cruise missiles worth 379 million U.S. dollars or 19 billion pesos in the Philippines.
01:39So two batches have already been sent and there's still another batch coming.
01:44So this, in the future, is that this Brahmos missile.
01:52And then, of course, this is of much concern to us.
01:58The Philippines will be buying 20 F-16 fighter jets worth 5.58 billion dollars, no?
02:09So, in the next slide, we will see some infographics.
02:16At what cost to the Filipino people?
02:2020 fighter jets, that's equivalent to 25% of the annual health budget,
02:29with the cost of one single fighter jet alone,
02:32could keep the Philippine Children's Medical Center running for more than seven years.
02:39This infographic was prepared by the International Peace Bureau.
02:45And next, another comparison, no?
02:49The cost of a single fighter jet F-16 could fund 100 national health institutions,
02:56like the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care for one year.
03:05So, next slide, please.
03:08We also know, of course, no?
03:10On Boeing, until May 9, ang Balikatang exercise.
03:14It is, for now, this 2025, it's the biggest, biggest military exercise
03:22where a full battle test will be conducted.
03:26It involves 17,000 Filipinos and American troops
03:31simulating mass invasions on enemy-occupied islands as part of a rehearsal, no?
03:39And this one, this is the U.S. mid-range missile, Typhoon.
03:47This was deployed in the Philippines for the first time in 2024.
03:53And what is significant is they said this will be a temporary deployment.
03:59But in the next slide, we can see na hindi pa umaalis yung unang missile defense system
04:08at nagpadala na sila ng isa pa.
04:10There's a second.
04:12The U.S. Nemesis missile is also in the Philippines for this Balikatang exercise.
04:20So, we can see here, no?
04:24The deployment, dalawang missile system na ang nandito sa Pilipinas ngayon.
04:29And of course, the Philippine military is very happy.
04:33They're saying the more, the merrier.
04:38They're saying the more jaar caipida in the Philippines for thisesse talism.
04:39That's the first time we're missing.
04:41They're saying the more to the tickets.
04:44But in the Philippines, it's a little bit of a check.
04:45But we can see here that there's a lot ofaits here.
04:47And all of these products are big.
04:50So, we're gonna see, this is the point of our queue.
04:52So, what we've made our call for this,
04:53You
