Integrity is central to the Defence Ministry’s mission, says Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin, who announced three initiatives aimed at enhancing accountability and transparency.

03:22and to the people out there
03:28Corruption issues
03:31or attempts to cross or beat the system
03:36mostly start as a result of troublesome procedures
03:42This does not mean that we must make everything easy
03:47Making things easy and making matters easier
03:51are two different things
03:55What I emphasize in doing our job
04:00and in dealing with the people
04:03we must have a clear system of procedures and work
04:09and help to solve the problem
04:13in a productive and effective way
04:17In line with our commitment to improve public service
04:23a monitoring authority to improve public service
