00:00The Philippine Coast Guard, or PCG, continues to patrol the West Philippine Sea, or WPS,
00:06despite the recent incident of harassment of Filipino fisherfolk by the China Coast
00:10Guard, or CCG.
00:12PCG spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, Commander Jay Tariela, said they immediately
00:18searched for the Filipino fishermen who were harassed and got their statements to support
00:23the video on the said incident.
00:25The PCG submitted an incident report to the National Task Force on WPS and other concerned
00:31agencies for appropriate action regarding the said matter.
00:35The incident happened between October 8 to October 10, when the Filipino fishing vessel
00:40FFB Hadasa, along with other ships, were on their way to Sabina Shoal.
00:47Our Coast Guard vessels that are deployed in Palawan will still continuously maintain
00:54our presence in Sabina Shoal.
