00:38The attorney general is said to be key to Trump's plans to carry out mass deportations,
00:43pardon the rioters of the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6 in 2021, and seek retribution against
00:50those who prosecuted Trump over the past four years.

01:22The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Republican-majority Senate.
