00:38According to Marvil, Duterte let go of many police officers after being involved in his war on drugs campaign.

00:45The PNP went against what the former president said.

00:48Our former president has the right to his words, but the records will not lie.

00:54According to PNP Public Information Office chief, Police Brigadier General Gene Fajardo,

00:58Duterte supported the statement of General Marvil regarding the police who were involved in the campaign against illegal drugs

01:05during the time of former President Duterte.

01:08This is not only the statements of our chief PNP, this is the records of PNP that came from our DPRM,

01:20our Directorate for Personal and Records Management, particularly the killed in action, wounded in action,

01:26and those who were prosecuted for providing the data, the DIDM.

01:30This data is not a joke, ma'am. This is not a joke.

01:36Gene Fajardo said that more than 1,000 police officers who were affected by war on drugs from July 2016 to June 2022 are not a joke.

01:45According to the statistics, more than 300 were wounded.

01:49Almost 1,000 were wounded while doing their job.

01:53More than 165 police officers were removed from service and 20 were jailed.

01:59More than 200 are still facing criminal charges.

02:02Welcome development for PNP is the promised financial assistance of former President Duterte for the police who are still facing criminal charges.

02:11We would like to extend our appreciation to the former president for initiating his donation.

02:18He said that 1 million, this is a welcome development because as you may remember,

02:22he gave his statement to our chief PNP that during the last administration, particularly from 2016 to 2022,
