00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcus Jr. led the distribution of financial assistance to farmers and fisherfolk in several provinces impacted by recent typhoons.
00:09In Tagaytay, Cavite, a total of 4,233 beneficiaries from 21 cities and towns have received financial aid under the Presidential Assistance for Farmers, Fisherfolk and Families program.
00:22The Chief Executive also instructed the Department of Public Works and Highways, or deeply WH, to fast track and improve the flood control project in the province.
00:31In the meantime, in Oriental Mindoro, President Marcus Jr. delivered over 46 million pesos worth of financial assistance with nearly 5,000 farmers and fisherfolk affected by typhoons Christine and Leon, receiving 10,000 pesos each from the Office of the President.
00:49We are here to provide assistance to our residents. Our countrymen are also affected by the typhoons.
01:00From the Office of the President, we will distribute financial assistance worth 10,000 pesos to nearly 5,000 beneficiaries.
