00:22The recent storms have devastated nearly all of Caudelia's banana trees in Silang, Cavite.
00:27It's very difficult because we can't harvest.
00:32That's what we're hoping for.
00:35To ease the burden of people like Caudelia hit hard by typhoons Christine and Leon,
00:39today President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. again distributed financial assistance.
00:44On this occasion, assistance was distributed to farmers, fishermen, and families in Tagaytay City, Cavite province.

01:18It's a big help to us in rice, water, and food.
01:23A total of 4,233 beneficiaries from 21 cities and towns have received financial aid
01:30from the presidential assistance for farmers, fisherfolk, and families program.
01:34Tomas will use this aid to restore his livelihood.

01:40Our plants were supposed to be planted on November 1st.
01:45We were supposed to sell them but the typhoon Christine brought them.

02:12to fast-track and improve the flood control project in Cavite province.
02:17Here in Cavite, we are implementing the Cavite Industrial Area Flood Risk Management Project.
02:24We expect that with the help of this project,
02:28after 2029, the heavy flooding in the San Juan River Basin
02:34and in the Palimano Creek drainage area in Cavite will be avoided.
