Christmas season in Farnham has begun as hundreds gathered to see the Mayor, Town Crier and a special guest switch on the lights in Gostrey Meadow.
The day began early at 13:00 pm with Rowledge School kicking off the festive fun which saw schools, theatre companies and bands perform.
Gostrey meadow was filled with families trying out fun fair games whilst parents enjoyed mulled wine and other festive treats.
In attendance was a special guest from the North Pole. Santa was at the meadow asking children about their Christmas wishlist and asking parents if they had been naughty or nice this year.
The lights were switched on to a crowd of onlookers at 16:30 pm as Farnham Town Mayor Cllr Brodie Mauluka, special guest Farnham and Bordon MP Greg Stafford and Santa switched the lights on.
After the mayor performed the honours in lighting the town he then tuned up to perform on the big stage with his band Brobed Stills.
