Transcript
00:00What is the best thing about Christmas?
00:05Do you know one of the favourite things I like is the big dinners.
00:08Big dinner at Christmas, don't you?
00:10I like the Christmas dinner.
00:12What do you like on the Christmas dinner?
00:14I like to have Christmas dinner today.
00:16I think we should get Christmas dinner today. Would you cook it?
00:19No, I won't.
00:21You'll cook it? And who's going to peel the spuds?
00:23Me.
00:24You can do everything. All I have to do is eat it.
00:26Yeah.
00:27So what are you going to give me?
00:28Yeah, I'm going to eat it with you.
00:29We've had great fun here with the wonderful children from St. Patrick's Primary School in Dunganan
00:33sharing what Christmas means to them.
00:36The wonder of Christmas means so many different things to so many different people
00:40and for some this Christmas they will wonder whether they will have a Christmas at all.
00:44For some it can be the most difficult time of the year,
00:47wondering whether they can afford to heat their home, put food on the table
00:50or indeed have the happy and magical Christmas that so many of us take for granted.
00:56This year I wonder if you could help St. Vincent de Paul's annual appeal.
01:00We are appealing for you to help bring the joy of Christmas to lives across this region.
01:05You can host a Christmas Jumper Day with your friends, family and colleagues
01:10and you can find out more information about this on the SVP website.
01:14You can donate online and by phone and your donation will go to BuyVouchers
01:19so that mummy and daddy can make that extra special purchase.
01:23And by giving the gift of choice you will be helping make sure that no child wakes up to an empty Christmas this year.
01:29We thank you very much for your support.
