00:00Morning Sheffield, it's Alistair from the Sheffield Star speaking to you on Tuesday
00:04November 19th for a little weather update. Already the snow around me is
00:07starting to turn to sludge, it's dripping off all the trees around me. I think the
00:10ambient air temperature out here is around 2 degrees so it's done very well
00:14for it sticking around. So you may be asking yourself is going to be any more
00:17snow for the week and so far the Met Office is saying no, no more predictions
00:21for snow this week and it's very likely because the conditions it'll clear off
00:25by tonight, it's already turned to sludge as I say. That being said because of some
00:29conditions such as the the clouds are expected to clear away by this evening
00:33supposed to be a very clear night ahead of us, some rising wind as the week goes
00:37on and other humidity temperature conditions for example. The
00:42temperature is expected to feel like quote-unquote feel like as little as
00:46minus five this evening so a bitterly cold night ahead if you happen to be
00:50outside or if you haven't got the window open for example. That's expected to last the
00:53rest of the week. They're predicting even minus six as low as the evenings on as
00:58evening on Wednesday overnight up to Thursday for example. So even though the
01:01snow is coming to an end and the air temperature will be around zero or one
01:06most days it's gonna feel feel much less than that in places so real course
01:11to stay safe there and close the drafts up I guess. But what's the
01:15immediate outlook though? So even though the air temperature should be around zero
01:19maybe dropping as minus one in places the Met Office hasn't put out a warning
01:24for ice just yet. It's most likely gonna be very frosty tomorrow as this snow
01:28clears away we get sludgy conditions that will most likely freeze or at least
01:33turn that way as the night goes on but there's no warning for ice at this
01:37time anyway. But I guess that's the headlines for the meantime no more snow
01:42most likely icy or frosty conditions tomorrow morning as the snow clears away
01:47and is left to freeze by overnight conditions but other ambient means it's
01:52going to be incredibly incredibly cold out overnight or at least feel like that
01:55anyway. So keep the windows closed, get a cup of tea on, look after yourselves I suppose.
