00:00Good morning Sheffield, it's Alistair from the Sheffield Star. I'm here with another quick weather update for you on Thursday, that is September 19th 2024.
00:09Right, parts of you will have woken up to pretty dense fog this morning, certainly in the higher areas of the city.
00:15Some pretty thick fog in the morning, but that should have already burned off and instead Sheffield is in for a fairly fine, fairly dry day ahead of us instead.
00:24A bit of sunshine certainly all day long, there's going to be some decent sunshine between 10am and 5pm all day long, so I hope you can get out of the office and enjoy some of that while it is.
00:33Not currently, currently it's very drizzly, very foggy this morning here on this rooftop, but otherwise it should burn up by around 10am and we'll be in for some nice sunshine between clouds.
00:45The BBC is forecasting a drizzly Friday ahead of us tomorrow and maybe an even worse Sunday sadly, marked by some pretty thick cloud and even a bit of rain come Sunday.
00:56But so far Saturday isn't looking too bad, so hopefully we can get out and make the most of that in time.
