00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. conducted an aerial inspection in Catanduanes to find out the cause of the next series of typhoons that hit the country.

00:10The President assured that he will continue to provide assistance from the government until the province recovers.

00:16The details are in the national news of Gabby Villegas of KTV.

00:20Here, President Marcos gave Php 50 million in financial assistance to the provincial government of Catanduanes.

00:29According to the President, he saw the typhoon Pepito after it hit the country during the aerial inspection.

00:36We looked at the helicopter and we saw what the damage was.

00:41We looked at the situation here. The problem here is not the rain but the strong wind.

00:52Relief items will also be sent to the evacuees who are still staying inside the evacuation centers.

00:59All those who are in the evacuation centers who are not yet able to go home, we are giving this as much as you can. There is no deadline for this.

01:14The President assured that he will continue to provide assistance from the government.

01:18The government will also pay attention to the reconstruction of the houses that were destroyed after the typhoon hit.

01:24The Governor of Catanduanes, Joseph Cua, thanked President Marcos.

01:28Your arrival, dear President, is proof of your dedication to provide assistance to us and your true love for us.

01:52Aside from distributing food packs, the government also distributed payouts to beneficiaries

01:58of Assistance to Individuals in Dressing Situations, or AICS, and Help to Find a Life in our Disadvantaged, or TUPAD, by the Department of Labor and Employment.

02:07Emily was happy that she was one of those who were given assistance after the typhoon Pepito hit their area.

02:13She thanked the government for the assistance received.

02:17It is a big help to us. Because of the current situation, we have no income.
