00:00Residents in Ilocos Norte are slowly waking up after the outbreak of Hurricane Marseille.

00:06President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. also visited the province

00:11to personally provide assistance to his fellow countrymen.

00:25This is how Mayor Rafael Benemerito described President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.'s visit

00:32to personally see the disaster caused by Hurricane Marseille in the community.

00:38Some residents couldn't help but cry

00:41as they recounted their experiences in the aftermath of the hurricane.

00:46Some of them lost their homes

00:49because of the strong winds and rains caused by Hurricane Marseille.

00:53I was shocked. I couldn't sleep for a minute.

01:00I couldn't sleep because my house was completely destroyed.

01:06I couldn't sleep because I was so happy when I saw the destruction.

01:13Despite this,

01:14President R. Marquez Jr. and his countrymen are deeply grateful

01:22for the assistance they received.

01:24Although this is how his family was affected,

01:27it was a big deal for him to receive assistance from the President

01:31for his visit to their hometown.

01:34They believe this will help them to continue their recovery

01:39especially since there are expected hurricanes to hit the region again.
