00:10Janna Pineda of PIA, National Capital Region, in the news for the country.

00:18More than 40 beneficiaries of TUPAD helped in repacking the family food packs of the Department of Social Welfare and Development

00:26at the National Resource Operations Center in Pasay City.

00:29Those included in the TUPAD program are workers who were given cash for work

00:34or emergency employment opportunities under the Department of Labor and Employment

00:39to help find a livelihood for our disadvantaged or displaced workers.

00:43The goal of this program is to provide a livelihood to workers in the informal sector

00:49while providing support to the implemented programs of the government

00:54such as relief operations for those affected by the typhoon.

00:58The fatigue and difficulty in repacking relief goods for Dang Aroque,

01:03one of the beneficiaries of TUPAD, is not insignificant because they are happy to help those affected by the typhoon.

01:10Meanwhile, DSWD assured that their stock of relief supplies remains sufficient

01:16to meet the needs of the families affected by the calamity.

01:21Not only the beneficiaries of TUPAD are helping in repacking relief goods at the National Resource Operations Center of DSWD.

01:30Some of the members of the Bureau of Fire Protection are also here.

01:34According to the agency, they are continuously monitoring the situation in the affected areas

01:39to provide immediate assistance to the families affected by the typhoon.
