00:00Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police reminded the security guards of the malls that it is prohibited to wear full costumes like for Santa Claus.

00:46The authorized uniform is based on the implementing rules and regulations of Republic Act 11917.

00:53It is considered a high security risk because it is possible that the criminals will copy the costumes

01:06We have a prescribed uniform for all of our security guards so they know that.

01:13So if there is a deviation in our prescribed uniform, they need to request for approval.

01:19It is also possible that this will bring confusion to the security guards

01:23as to where they should approach to ask for approval in times of emergency.

01:28Now, maybe if it is minimal, just like Santa Claus' hat,

01:34maybe we will give it but if they are going to deviate the whole uniform, it is prohibited.

01:41According to the PNP CSG, in the face of grave offense,

01:45there is a fine of Php 100,000 for the first offense, Php 200,000 for the second offense,

01:51and Php 300,000 for the third offense until the cancellation of his license.

01:57Anyone will be fined for this.

01:59There are violations and possible fines that are included in our rules and regulations.

02:08That is why we will punish them if they deviate from our rules.
