00:00So, Newcastle United closing in on their Premier League return against West Ham. Of course,
00:07it will be over two weeks since their last game against Nottingham Forest when they do
00:11host West Ham on Monday night. It's obviously a big game for the Magpies, you know, three
00:16wins in a row before the break. Can it make it four in a row against West Ham? It's going
00:20to be a tricky game, but one that if they can get a good result at home, you're battling
00:25to get a good result against anyone. You know, that will really sort of keep their momentum
00:28that they built before the break and keep it going forward into what we all know is
00:32a tricky part of the season. With Christmas coming up, a busy fixture list, they've got
00:36a tricky test against Crystal Palace. Away from home to come, they've got Liverpool at
00:41home as well, and obviously that Carabao Cup game in a month's time. So, it's going to
00:44be a busy part of the season and anyhow, we'll be hoping his side can get that off to the
00:48best possible start with a win against West Ham. It's unlikely he's going to have too
00:53many changes to make. Of course, we know Dan Burns is suspended. That's one enforced change
00:57that he'll have to make. We expect Lloyd Kelly to come in there, but other than that,
01:02will he have many other players available that he didn't have available for him against
01:06Forrest? I think the only ones really are Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson. Now, you'd
01:10expect Trippier, if he is fit, you'd expect him to still start on the bench, such as the
01:14form of Tino Liveromento recently, obviously making his England debut and impressing Foney
01:18Gasol this season. And of course, his other option is whether Callum Wilson is fit enough
01:23to make a matchday squad for what will be the first time this season, including pre-season
01:27as well. As you know, it's been a long time since we've seen Wilson in action. He's only
01:31made six Premier League appearances this calendar year, so it'll be really good to see him back
01:35if he can have him back. And obviously, we all know his brilliant record against West
01:39Ham, 12 goals in 14 games for Bournemouth and Newcastle. He's only not scored against
01:46West Ham in a season twice during his career, so he's got a brilliant record against West
01:50Ham. He loves scoring against them. It'll be a great boost to see him back if that is
01:54something that Newcastle can do. Eddie Howe will speak to the media on Friday. No doubt
01:58you'll be asked about the fitness of Wilson, Trippier, ahead of that game, and obviously
02:03all the other players. But I think they're the two that you would hope, or Eddie Howe
02:06would certainly hope to potentially have back ahead of that game. And yeah, as mentioned,
02:12it's going to be a big game for Newcastle. It's a big game for West Ham. They've not
02:14started brilliant under Hula Nobategui, and they will be keen to kick-start that at Newcastle.
02:22Both sides in the last six games at St James' Park have picked up eight points each, two
02:26wins and two draws apiece for each team. So, you know, it's a game, historically, or certainly
02:31in recent history, it's quite close, quite a close match, two teams really. Newcastle
02:38will go into the game above West Ham. As I mentioned on my last video, Newcastle can
02:42start as low as 13th in the table on Monday against West Ham, but they could also finish
02:47as high as third, so it's a big gap. West Ham, similarly, they could start the game
02:51in 16th place, if ever, and then Ipswich get wins on Saturday. So it's a massive game
02:55for both teams. Newcastle will start as favourites and we'll be confident that they can continue
03:00that good form that they had before the international break. But as mentioned, you know, West Ham
03:04have got some quality players. We all know Jared Bowen, he loves the goal against Newcastle
03:08United. Mohamed Kudus, who did last year, he scored twice against Newcastle, he won't
03:11be playing, he's suspended. But other than that, you know, West Ham still got some good
03:14quality players in there and it'll be a tricky game. But as mentioned, as in St James' Park,
03:18under the lights, it'll be one that Newcastle back themselves with and if they can get that
03:21boost of Trevier back or Wilson back, or even the pair, then they'll head into that game
03:26full of confidence on Monday night.
