00:00Sida G20, which was invited by Brazil.
00:06Brazil emphasized the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty.
00:13And as we know, President Lula is one of the leading figures in developed countries,
00:20who is brave, who has a firm position,
00:23with a lot of similarities with Malaysia and South Africa.
00:27And the three of us also voted separately to draft a strategy,
00:33one for Latin America, one for Africa, and one for Asia,
00:38to give a new approach.
00:41We oppose the current PBB position.
00:45And we demand what is known as the world order,
00:50which is to reform the United Nations.
00:53The United Nations must be reformed,
00:56and the power cannot be given only to the existing countries.
01:01But it should be developed to represent Latin America,
01:04which is Brazil, and to represent Africa, which is South Africa.
01:08Then, as I said, why can we accept the United Nations,
01:15but we can allow a country that violates all the provisions of the United Nations Security Council
01:22and the UN.
01:24And because we allow it,
01:28it should be cut off from a country like the one that violates,
01:32especially Israel.
01:35When we talk about the United Nations,
01:39it is a body that was established to live in a free country.
01:45It means anti-colonial, anti-colonialism.
01:51And how can a country like the G20,
01:54where there is the President of the United States,
01:57the President of China,
02:00the Prime Minister of the UK, and many others,
02:04how can we come together in a world body
02:10that recognizes a country that violates
02:17We have been fighting colonialism all this time,
02:20but we recognize and accept Israel,
02:23which continues to invade Gaza.
02:27Next is about free trade.
02:32Because the flow towards protectionism has begun,
02:37whereas these countries are the first to invade,
02:42bringing the principle of free trade.
02:46So we advocate for the IMF
02:49because we want to change the international financial architecture
02:54and the WTO to support free trade
02:59without discrimination for small countries.
03:02Those are the issues that we focus on and pay attention to.
03:06But we must remember that the G20,
03:08Malaysia is not a member,
03:10but we are specifically asked to discuss a few issues
03:14that they consider us to be forward.
03:16First, the battle against hunger and poverty.
03:21And secondly, anti-corruption drive.
03:24So these two are recognized,
03:26both in Peru and Brazil,
03:28which they ask us to support.
03:31And the committee that will be established
03:35will consider the role of Malaysia,
03:37even though Malaysia has not yet become a G20 member.
